This picture features three different types of Godshards. From left to right; Annabelle (Shardling), Ruth the Uniter (Maximus Shard), Avella Avalon (Magnus Shard). Unlike most of the other artwork, this art accurately shows the trademark glowing eyes, the Godshard glow. They are also to scale with Ruth standing at 7 feet tall, and even Annabelle being well above 6 feet.

Shardlings

Barely even Godshards, the Shardlings have only the tiniest sliver of a Shard within them. Their magical powers are almost non-existent and many struggle to control their Soulsight.

Level One: Minimus

The least powerful of the true Godshards, Minimus Shards typically can only do certain lesser spells. Yet they have some of the best passive abilities, often greater than more powerful Godshards.

Level Two: Minorus

Minorus Shards are still quite limited in their magical potential. Some individuals can gain magical leanings with training and skill. The biggest strength of the Minorus is they have the best passive abilities of all Godshards.

Level Three: Majorus

Majorus Shards are capable of casting many kinds of spells and most have magical leanings. They form the middle ground with their passive abilities worse than Minorus and Minimus Shards, and their magical power lesser than Magnus and Maximus Shards.

Level Four: Magnus

Magnus Shards are among the greatest of their kind, able to cast potent spells of great power that can best armies and slay monsters. Yet for all their power they also tend to be considerably more aloof and socially awkward, struggling to connect with people.

Level Five: Maximus

The most powerful of the Godshards, Maximus Shards can change the tides of history and live upwards of two centuries or more. While any Godshard can achieve great things, Maximus Shards have the lion's share of power to do so. Nevertheless they are even more socially awkward and can sometimes be arrogant and set in their ways.
